                                                                                         Dennis is the bassist and LEADER of the Machaira that 

                                                                                         he founded 33 years ago. While leading Machaira this lead

                                                                                         to working with :  Marc Russo,  John McFee from the

                                                                                        Doobie Brothers,  Mic Gillette from Tower of Power,

                                                                                        Brent Bourgeois from Bourgeois Tagg,  Scott Joss from

                                                                                        Merle Haggard, and Keith Edwards from Ricky Skaggs,

                                                                                    Coop is the Music Director for Machaira. He is a 

                                                                                    vocalist, guitarist, bassist, record producer, educator, and

                                                                                    author. Coop has now performed in over 65 countries.   

                                                                                    He has performed with Joe Walsh, Steve Howe (Yes), 

                                                                                    Danny Gatton, Les Paul, Rhonda Smith, Kat Dyson,

                                                                                    Carmine Appice, Alphonso Johnson, Narada Michael

                                                                                    Walden, Tower of  Power, James Cotton, Elvin Bishop,  

                                                                                    Pat Travers, Tommy Emmanuel, Jennifer Batten, Don

   Coop has released  7 solo records & 8 Guitar Instructional  books & CDs. His “Blues Jam Along”

   & “Hard Rock Jam Along" books have been published by Music Sales /Amsco publishing.

   At age 21, Coop  was awarded a quarter finalist prize in the American Song Festival;  in 1994 Coop

   won 1st place in the Hot Guitarist Contest at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.
